Report changes to my information.
It is important that you notify us of any changes to your details in good time. For example, you should inform us if your family composition or telephone number changes, if you move house, or if you take out a different health insurance policy.
You can submit your new details online using the change form, and we will update our records immediately. This is convenient for you and helps us to stay up to date.
Rotterdam Emergency Services
Are you wondering whether your case is urgent, or if treatment can wait until the next working day? Our emergency service can discuss this with you. Our emergency page contains examples and tips for dealing with acute pain and other unpleasant situations involving your teeth or mouth.
If you are experiencing acute pain or another emergency, please call the following number during opening hours: 010 414 2248. Outside of these hours, please call the emergency service number in Rotterdam: 0900 1515. Please have a pen and paper ready to take notes.
Complaints procedure
Although many of our patients are satisfied with their dentist and the treatment they receive, you may sometimes feel that your dentist has provided incorrect or careless information or treatment. At Tandzorg Kralingen, we value our patients’ opinions highly, as your feedback is essential for us to improve our treatments and methods. We would therefore be very grateful if you could share your experiences with us, whether positive or negative. If you have had a negative experience, you can talk to your dentist or ask for advice from the TIP.
Talk to your dentist
In many cases, a conversation with your dentist will resolve any uncertainties. During a personal consultation, you will have the opportunity to explain why you feel you were given incorrect or inaccurate information, or why you feel you received inadequate treatment. Your dentist can also explain why they carried out the treatment in a certain way. It is also important for the dentist to know that you have a complaint, as this allows us to work together to find a solution.
Seeking advice from the TIP
If you cannot reach an agreement with your dentist, you can obtain advice and information over the phone from the Dental Information Point (TIP; tel. 0900 202 5012; €0.15 per minute). The TIP was set up by the Royal Dutch Dental Association (KNMT), and its staff will be happy to help.
