How much do veneers cost?
Since 1 January 2013, the Dutch government has legally determined the cost of veneers. This means that the cost is the same at every dentist. This ensures that you will never be faced with any surprises. The cost of veneer placement depends on the number of veneers, the material used, and technical costs. Below, you will find an indication of the price of veneer placement.
Description | Costs of veneers |

Composite veneer | € 100,- – € 150,- per tooth |

Price of porcelain veneers
Porcelain veneers are more expensive than composite veneers. However, porcelain is a very durable material that retains its attractive appearance for longer. Two short appointments are needed to fit porcelain veneers.
Price of composite veneers
Composite veneers are cheaper than porcelain veneers due to the cost and lifespan of the material. Additionally, composite veneers can be fitted in just one appointment.
Veneers reimbursed
Most insurers reimburse some of the cost of veneers through supplementary dental insurance. The current basic package does not cover the cost of veneers. However, if you have supplementary dental insurance, your insurer will usually reimburse 70–80% of the cost. Contact your health insurer to find out the exact amount you will be reimbursed.
